We ship your bike order free of charge with PostNL. You'll receive an expected delivery date from them by email. We offer a 48-hour delivery service, so your bike will be delivered within 2 business days! Bikes ordered before 5:00 PM on weekdays will be shipped the same business day. Orders placed on Fridays after 5:00 PM or over the weekend will be processed on Monday.

Please note: We only deliver our bikes in the Netherlands and Belgium. Bike deliveries to the Wadden Islands are not possible.

All our bikes are delivered in a box. To make things as easy as possible for you, our bikes are already 85% assembled. Depending on the bike, you may still need to assemble the following:
- Mounting the front wheel
- Installing the front mudguard
- Installing the handlebars, saddle and pedals
- Install any front carrier or training wheels

Warranty on your bicycle

Cortego guarantees that the delivered product complies with the concluded agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of soundness and/or usability and the legal provisions and/or government regulations in force on the date the agreement is concluded.

In general, you have a 1-year warranty on all moving parts and a 2-year warranty on the frame. Parts subject to wear and tear, such as tires, chain, chainrings, freewheel, rear sprockets, cables, and brake pads, are not covered by the warranty, unless there are construction and/or material defects. Damage resulting from improper use and falls is not covered by the warranty.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. We'll also return the repaired or replacement product to you free of charge.

If the defect is not covered by the warranty, we will tell you the repair costs. We will not repair anything without your permission.

If there's anything wrong with your product, please always contact us first. We'll work with you to determine how to handle your complaint as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Prima stevige dames fiets

Mooie stevige damesfiets met verlaagde instap. Fietst lekker en niet zwaar. Instelbaar op 7 versnelling instelling 3 is gewone trap instelling van een fiets. Ik heb de l / xl maat daar ik lang ben en blij dat de verlengde zadelpen er niet apart bij gekocht hoeft te worden. Wordt keurig verpakt in de doos geleverd, waarbij stuur zadel voorwiel en bagagerek nog zelf gemonteerd hoeft te worden. Het is voor mij na 22 jaar weer een 2 wielfiets ( hiervoor 3 wielligfiets maar na rugoperatie kan ik weer op 2 wiel) het was even wennen met bagagerek voorop maar dat went bijna direkt en heeft geen echt effect op het sturen. Alles is bijna mooi in het zwart. Lekkere ergonomische handgrepen die niet te hard zijn maar fijn aanvoelen. De bagagedrager achter is ook van stevige kwaliteit met brede tussenstukken waarop ook een mand stevig vastgezet kan worden. Ik heb er fietstassen op vastgemaakt, moet wel wat boodschappen erop kwijt kunnen. Degelijke trappers die je erzo op kunt draaien en waarbij er handige stickers op zitten welke links en rechts aangeven. Verlichting zit er ook zo op en achterlicht is al vooraf erop gezet, alleen nog even batterijen plaatsen. Banden even oppompen klaar. Zit ook een goed degelijk slot bij op kortom inelkaar fietsen maar!
Let wel op dat je niet vergeet om na een aantal keren fietsen de spaken nakijkt en indien nodig aandraait. Ik heb het zadel wat erbij zit vervangen voor 1 met iets breder zitvlak en een leuke andere bel opgezet, zo is de fiets helemaal eigen gemaakt.

De levering was 1 dag vertraagd en er waren een paar lastige momenten bij het monteren van de fiets 😉 maar het is gelukt en mijn dochter is erg blij met de fiets, hij zit erg comfortabel.

Blij met me fiets, op een kapotte binnenbad na, ben ik er super blij mee. Me man mocht het bouwpakket in elkaar zetten 🤣🤣🤣

Cortego City Plus (7v) After 2000km of European Touring

In September 2024, I bought not one, but two Cortego City Plus (7-speed) bikes to use for a long-distance European bike tour.

As with many things, the photo didn't quite match the real product — and that became obvious quickly:
- The lock was missing (still is);
- The front rack had a different design than advertised;
- The rear rack was missing the top frame connection (still is);
- The rear light didn’t work (and still doesn’t).

💭 Can I still get the lock, rear rack bracket, and light? Might be worth asking...

🚴‍♂️ But then came the tour…
Despite not being designed for long-distance touring, I put the Cortego through a real test — 2000 km fully loaded.
And you know what? It held up surprisingly well.

🔍 Key Observations
👍 What worked
The frame is the real hero here — a strong, steel (iron + carbon = 💪) structure that took the load and abuse like a champ.

The tires were also shockingly reliable, with no issues throughout the tour.

The V-brake mounting points, rack mounts, and geometry make it comfortable for long rides, even if it wasn’t built for it.

👎 What failed
After 2000 km under load:

The rear wheel, hub, axle, and cassette developed some bending — not surprising given the stock parts.

The original SunRace grip shifters fell apart under the stress (cable tension also degraded).

Brake pads wore down faster than expected — though to be fair, they performed well until the end.

The headset loosened and needed adjustment.

🧰 Upgrades I Made
To prep the Cortego for serious touring, I replaced most of the drivetrain and braking system:
